WELLNESS TEAM
Third Thursday Thrive
Vendor Guidelines, Policies, and Agreement (application below)
We are a wonderful group of holistic, natural health and wellness practitioners, educators, and businesses who provide complimentary services to Fort Worth and surrounding communities on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This event is known as Third Thursday Thrive. The event location is subject to change. The event is scheduled to be open to the public from 6:30pm to 9pm.
Any vendors who commit to participating in the event need to be at the event during the entire length of the event. Please allow yourself enough time so you are ready to interact with guests and the entire event is ready to begin at 6:30pm. Please be courteous to your fellow practitioners/vendors and do not collapse tables prior to the end of the event.
Event Purpose and Format
The purpose of the Third Thursday Thrive is two-fold: to connect with the community and educate them on the various alternative health and wellness services available; to create a network of caring, natural practitioners, educators and wellness focused business (vendors). The first purpose is accomplished during the event. The second purpose is accomplished through us coming together as a team prior to the doors opening at 6:30p, through active participation in our TTT Wellness Team Facebook page, and monthly events when we gather as a team to build our relationships with one another.
The group will provide services (consultations, examinations, alternative healing sessions, etc.) and promote natural health and wellness products. The intention is to help members of the community create relationships with practitioners, learn about the complementary and alternative to medicine services that are available in Fort Worth, and provide an opportunity for community members to experience many of these services during the event.
This event is intended to remain focused on mind, body, and spiritual health and wellness. The events will not include psychic mediumship practices such as delivering channeled messages, card readings (such as tarot) or other forms of divination. Energy medicine, light work, and bodywork are often associated with psychic readings. We aim to collectively demonstrate this association has shifted and is now working from a more intuitive focus. Our goal is to educate the community of the positive aspects of intuitive, energetic healing techniques, and have them seen as the natural health and wellness services they are.
Vendors are encouraged to follow up with event participants, supporting any health and wellness needs that are discovered while working with them during the event. Vendors may reserve spaces for any event at www.thirdthursdaythrive.com/reservespace. (Any space reservations made without first being accepted as a Wellness Team Member will be cancelled and refunded.) Vendors are responsible for bringing, setting up, and removing their own display tables and therapy tables. There will be plenty of chairs available at the venue. Vendors are welcome to offer and provide any services they are certified and/or licensed to provide. Any liability for services provided remains entirely with the vendor providing the services. If services you provide in your office require an informed consent, you must provide the informed consent to guests at the event. The event closes to the public at 9pm and vendors are expected to take all their possessions and leave the venue by 9:30pm.
Space Reservations, Fees, and Handling of Funds
These policies are under review by the new leaders of the Third Thursday Thrive. Space reservation fees may be subject to change based on location.
Sale of Products
Vendors may sell merchandise during the event with the following restrictions: the sales are fully within the confines of the law, the sales do not violate any restrictions from our venue(s), and the products are for natural health and wellness. Any monetary exchanges for product sales are the responsibility of the vendors. Host(s) and venue(s) are not responsible for any product sales or refunds to event guests.
Advertising
We all need to work together to promote a healthier community. For this event to become and remain successful, all vendors need to participate in advertising the event in their own business/practice, on social media, websites, and existing newsletters. Vendors are not expected to incur printing costs as a means of advertising, though any contribution is greatly appreciated. Vendors may use any event wording included on the Third Thursday Thrive website. Any changes to event descriptions must be approved by the event host(s).
Preserving Event Integrity
Third Thursday Thrive is not intended to be free health clinic. We recommend limiting the amount of free sessions an individual may receive from you to allow you to serve more people. We want to extend our reach in the community and increase awareness of our services for as many people as possible. We encourage you to limit the free sessions to 3 per client per year. If a client wants to see you more often, it would be best for them to follow up with you in your practice, so they can receive the complete benefits of the services you provide under a guided care plan. Please feel free to tell clients that the event policy is to limit 3 free sessions per practitioner, so we help more people discover the right care for them. Using/Following this guideline is at the discretion of each practitioner.
Waiver of Liability
None of the services provided during the Third Thursday Thrive are intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical conditions. Interactions, consultations and receipt of services during this event do not establish doctor patient relationships and do not substitute medical advice by a licensed physician. Event participants will be encouraged to consult their physician(s) regarding any condition that may require medical attention.
All services and consultations provided at Third Thursday Thrive are by separate practitioners/business owners. Host(s) and Venue(s) are not responsible for any of the services being provided by other individual practitioners/businesses. Any liability for a practitioner's services lies entirely with the individual practitioner/business providing the service.
